Winter 2019 Dining Options

Remember that True Grit’s will be closed from Thursday, December 20, 2018 – Tuesday, January 01, 2019 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 02, 2019 so plan accordingly! The last meal served for the Fall 2018 semester will be dinner on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, and the first meal served for the Winter 2019 session will be breakfast on Wednesday, January 02, 2019. Fall 2019 Flex dollars expire at 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

The Ultimate – $496.00

Savvy 16 – $489.00

Terrific 12 – $424.00

Mini 25 Block – $247.00

Winter $50 Flex – $50.00

Unlike the regular semester, Winter Session meal plans do not include Flex dollars. If desired, these must be purchased separately as the ‘Winter $50 Flex’ option. Winter meal plans can only be used at True Grit’s while Winter Flex can be used at any dining location. Please note that unused Winter Session 2019 Flex dollars will carry over and be credited for use during the Spring 2019 semester. As stated above, meal plans will begin on Wednesday, January 02, 2019 and conclude on Friday, January 25, 2019. Winter Session 2019 meal plans will appear as a separate charge on your student account.

9-Month Residence Halls

As a condition of your 9-Month housing license, residents of Potomac Hall, or a 9-Month floor in Harbor Hall (1st Noth, 1st West, 2nd South, 2nd West, 3rd South, and 3rd West) will be enrolled in a Winter Session meal plan. For your convenience, all students will be provided with the Winter $50 Flex (with Spring rollover) option. This is because your housing license includes housing for the Winter Session 2019, which is from Wednesday, January 02, 2019 through Friday, January 25, 2019. Larger meal plans (listed above) are available if desired.

Selection Deadline

Winter Session 2019 meal plan selections must be made by Sunday, December 09, 2018 to ensure that the charge will appear on your January 01, 2019 E-Bill.

How to Sign Up

To sign up for a Winter Session 2019 meal plan, please submit an RT Ticket by clicking here.  Alternatively, you may submit a ticket by logging into your MyUMBC account and selecting ‘Help’ on the lefthand side of the page. From there, select ‘Meal Plans’ found under the Billing & Personal Finances category.

Meal Plan Changes

After the December 09, 2018 signup deadline, changes to meal plans for the Winter Session 2019 will be accepted prior to January 02, 2019 but will be subject to a $35.00 processing charge for this service. Changes may be done by submitting an RT Ticket as noted above. No meal plan changes may be made after the start of the Winter Session, January 02, 2019.

Commuters and Apartment Residents

Voluntary meal plan users (commuters and apartment residents) may select any available meal plan by submitting an RT Ticket or using the Chartwells Dine-On-Campus website.
